Welcome to the IBM Users Group of Central Missouri Web Site.
The Group is focused on issues related to IBM Midrange Computing.

IBM User Group of Central Missouri has a very long history. It has been in existence for over 25 years.

In its prime, we had many members and a normal meeting would have 25-35 in attendance. We would bring in speakers, have tours and share a meal.

In the past several years, interest has declined and obtaining speakers and tours has become difficult and expensive. With these difficulties, the remaining group has decided that we should lower our expectations of a meeting and just enjoy a meal out networking with friends.

To make for easier planning, we are going to have the meals at the same location every time (until someone has an issue or wants to change). We have been meeting in the Ashland, MO area, because it is a central location for the group. Our main group is from Jefferson City and Columbia.

Our main reason to gather is still to discuss Sys/34, Sys/36, Sys/38, AS/400, and iSeries topics.
We like to help each other. You never know what we will talk about.

Everyone is welcome to attend,
especially if you have an interest in Sys/34, Sys/36, Sys/38, AS/400, and iSeries computers.

Our current meeting dates are the fourth Thursday of odd number months,
except July and November.
In other words, January, March, May and September.
Meeting time is 6:00 PM.

Our current meeting location is
APP - Ashland Pizza and Pub
103 East Broadway Ashland, MO.
(Go west on Hwy E - Broadway. The APP is on the north side of the road past the post office by city hall before the four way stop downtown.)
